Travel Comfort and Convenience
One of the joys of adventure travel is not having the luxuries of home. Otherwise why leave, right? But that doesn't mean you need to be in pain or get no sleep on the road. A few simple travel comfort items can help smooth the rough edges of the travel trail. First, would be an eye mask. Eye masks are not only good for planes and buses, but more importantly let you sleep in crowded hostel dorm rooms or catch an afternoon nap. Ear plugs are the same way. Most consider them for use in transit, but they're great for catching quiet moments wherever you are. We also recommend taking along a sewing kit and at least a basic first aid kit. You don't want to lose half a day's precious travel time searching for a needle and thread or a pharmacy to help stop ... well, we all no what we need to help stop. So take at least those four items. You'll keep your pack and clothes in good repair, get a good night's sleep and stay healthy while roughing it!
